Mister Fantastic is the newest Duelist hero to be added to the game with the release of Season 1. While he is a duelist, Mister Fantastic is a hero that comes with a ton of sustain in his kit, making him feel more like a Vanguard, which will more often than not trick your enemies into making stupid plays. Mister Fantastic is a unique Duelist hero who honestly feels more like a Vanguard hero rather than anything else. His normal attacks have mid-range and are a great way to deal damage. This is because by dragging your camera after launching an attack, you can hit more than one enemy, allowing you to easily deal a ton of damage if the enemy team is grouped together.
In addition to his decent normal attacks, Mister Fantastic has a ton of utility baked into his kit. His passive for one transforms him into a juggernaut of a unit, giving him a ton of shields and letting him get up close and personal with enemies. You could even say it transforms him into a Vanguard unit for a set duration. His L Shift ability gives him a nice shield that can absorb damage and reflect it back at enemies, allowing you to either protect yourself or stand in front of an ally to guard them. Mister Fantastic also has a nice gap closer that grants him a shield, and he can even use that gap closer on an ally to give them a shield as well. His RMB, in turn, is a great tool to CC enemies either by pulling them closer to you and your teammates or by slamming them together with another enemy. Lastly, Mister Fantastic’s ultimate is a simple damaging ability, but given the rest of his kit, we believe that this is enough.
All in all, Mister Fantastic is a unique hero who hovers on the border of being a Duelist and a Vanguard. He is a unit that can both deal damage and protect allies, allowing him to be quite universal in a ton of scenarios.
